The Dominican Sisters of Hope provide support to organizations and projects as an important means of furthering their own mission. This support if provided through the Ministry Trust, with particular concern for service to the poor, to issues of justice, and to the environment.
Ministry Trust
The following projects are sponsored by our Ministry Trust. Each project requires a sponsoring sister.
Ministry Trust Criteria
- The project will enable and empower people who are economically deprived.
- The project will deal creatively with the causes of poverty and injustice.
- The project will significantly involve low-income community people in its initiation, direction, and evaluation.
- The project will be inclusive in its structure, relationship style. Decision-making and exchange of power, e.g., consensus and peer supervision.
