Many of us are saddened and disturbed by recent national events. However, as our new Leadership Team shared recently, “Our mission and charism are uniquely suited for this time of global violence, polarization and climate crises. We have come to know that Hope is most operative in apparently hopeless times such as these and we believe that the energy of contemplation can in fact be transformative.”

Starting today and throughout the weeks of the U.S. Republican and Democratic National Conventions, as well as the week of the National Election, the Dominican Sisters of Hope and other women religious will be offering special prayers to “bridge the divide between culture, religion, and politics”.  All are invited to silent prayer, joining the virtual prayer space at any time of day or night:

Week of July 15 – 18 (Republican Convention)

Week of August 19 – 22 (Democratic Convention)

Week of November 4 – 6 (National Election)
