This Sunday, January 12th, the Dominican Sisters of Hope are hosting Hope is the Gift of Communion: A Day with Teresa Maya at 10 am EST at The Center at Mariandale. The day will be held as a celebration of the Year of Hope, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of our founding.
We expect that Teresa will guide us in exploring what it means to be a woman religious today, discussing our call to worldwide justice, and igniting the hope of religious life in communion with others. All (sisters, associates, and members of the public) are welcome to attend in person or via livestream.
We recognize that this is a “dark time” for religious life, yet we’re excited about Teresa’s passion and message in this season of celebration for us. She is a true “woman of Hope”! Join us as we embrace her message that women religious are enough, and that Hope is truly the gift of communion.
Will you post a video of the conference. It was excellent.
