In celebration of the Easter season, we are continuing our Spirituality Wednesday series with writings from our sisters every Wednesday. However, because April is also National Poetry Month, we’re highlighting our sister-poets this month, too!

Below is a poem by Dominican Sister of Hope Jo-Ann Iannotti. Stayed tuned throughout the month (on Wednesdays and throughout the week) for more poetry from the Dominican Sisters of Hope.

AHH

I have been looking for a reason to thaw,

to unfold into the truth.

Petals of perfection

stretch into the light,

Intoxicate the eye,

And relax in resurrection
