You Are the Light of the World:
Reflections on the Beatitudes
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden, nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
-Matthew 5:14-16
What is the email series?
With the dawn of Advent, we invite you to join us in contemplation on what Jesus meant when he preached on blessings and the blessed. Perhaps Christ’s words ring true for your community, your neighbors, even your own heart. Throughout the four weeks of Advent, we’ll send you two emails per week with a reflection (usually written by a sister) on how the Beatitudes relate to our world today.
